Russel A. Kuhlman
Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at St. John Lutheran Church for lifelong Rogers City resident Russel A. Kuhlman, 83, who died April 6, at Rogers City Hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Kuhlman, who resided at 293 Larke Ave, was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church where he held various offices over the years. He was a member of the Presque Isle County Council on Aging and was an avid high school sports fan.
Born December 26, 1903 in Rogers City, Mr. Kuhlman married Leona Streich June 29, 1928 in Rogers City. The couple had two children, Audrey (Mrs. Malcolm) Kowalewsky and William R. Kuhlman of Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
Mrs. Kuhlman passed away August 8, 1983, and five brothers and seven sisters also preceded Mr. Kuhlman in death.
In addition to his children, Mr. Kuhlman is survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A prayer service was held Wednesday evening at 8:30 at Brietzke-Torhan Funeral Home, and the Rev. Samuel Sherouse will officiate at the 1pm funeral. Interment will be in Rogers City Memorial Park.
It has been suggested that memorial donations be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
