"John Wesley Anderson"
"John Wesley, son of Chas. and Mabel Anderson, was born on a farm near Dana Iowa, Dec 23, 1920 and departed from the life Aug. 13, 1924. He was the pride of his parents and will be greatly missed by his sisters and brothers. Johnny as he was known attended the M. E. Church for a short time and then went out. Besides his parents he leaves 3 sisters Myrtle, Alice, and Helen, also 2 brothers Edwin and Vernon.
A precious one from us is gone
A voice we loved is still
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.
God in Heaven shall renew
The boon his love has given
And though the body slumbers here
His soul is safe in Heaven.
The funeral services were held from the home Thursday afternoon Aug. 14th. Conducted by Rev. Edward L. Bellows, assisted by Rev. Wray.
The sympathy of the entire comunity goes out to this family in the untimely death of little John. Internment was made in Paton cemetary."
