BODENSCHATZ - Michael J., 88, McVeytown R. D. 2, formerly of Lilly, died March 18, 1967, at Lewistown Hospital. Born August 5, 1878, in Wilmore, son of late John J. and Catherine (Weinzierl) Bodenschatz. Preceded in death by 4 daughters.

Retired April 24, 1946, after 43 years as chief freight clerk for Pennsylvania Railroad.

Requiem Mass at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Saint Brigid's Catholic Church, Lilly, the Rev. Philip B. Curran. Interment, church cemetery. Friends received after 7 p.m. Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at Clayton C. Brummert Funeral Home, Lilly, where Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
