Barbara E. Annorino, 82, a resident of Thompson Rd., Town of Oswego, passed away May 16, 2011, at home, surrounded by her family. Born in Auburn, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Rosemond (Knopp) Dowd. She moved to Oswego at the age of 15 and graduated from the Oswego High School. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, bingo and bunko, and wintered in Lakeland, Florida with her Florida family and friends. Barbara worked for over 20 years at A&P Grocery Store. Surviving are her two children, Beth (Martin) Wallace and Joseph (Linda) Annorino, both of Oswego Town; a brother, Donald (Sally) Dowd of Oswego Town; step brother, Donald Calaman; sister in laws, Maryann Calaman, Nancy Dowd, and Barbara Engler; five grandchildren, Joseph B. Annorino, Nicole Pitts, Ashley Wallace, Jeffrey Wallace and Christopher Wallace; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Bart J. Annorino; her brothers, Pat, David, Jerry, and John Dowd; and her stepbrother, Bernie Calaman. Funeral Services will be held 10a.m. Friday, May 20th at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held 4 – 7p.m. Thursday, at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of Oswego County Hospice Inc., P.O. Box 102, Oswego, NY 13126.
