Funeral services for Mrs. Iris Kennedy Masters, former resident of Dallas who died at her home in Cleburne Saturday, were held at the Lamar & Smith Chapel at 5 p. m. Saturday. Burial was in Grove Hil Cemetery, with the Rev. Wallace Bassett officiating. Assisting him were the Rev. E. V. Culpepper, the Rev. Charles Pitts, and the Rev. Mr. Robertson of Cleburne.
Mrs. Masters was daughter of the late J. D. Kennedy, pastor of Cleburne Baptist Church until his death. She was a member of Cliff Temple Baptist Church here until she left Dallas three years ago.
Surviving are her husband, Richard Masters; mother, Mrs. Annis Kennedy; brother Mack Kennedy; sisters, Mrs. Ed Holmes, Mrs. J. E. Evans, Mrs. Herbert Parks, Mrs. L. H. Rudd, Mrs. W. C. Lace, and Mrs. J. B. Reynolds.
