He was elected District Attorney of Parker County for an unknown number of years. Also elected Chairman of the Democratic Party from 1884-1890. Was an attorney, Vice-President of Citizens Bank, Trustee of the Weatherford Public School System. He also was one of the original organizers of Central Christian Church in Weatherford.
