Born in Brisbane, Australia, Hansen joined the group in 1992 as lead singer, the band was formed in 1991. They recorded eight studio albums including, "Sound-Dust" in 2001. The album debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard's Heatseekers Chart. There many songs include "Super Electric," "Changer," "Difficult Fourth Title," "Anemie," "Goldenball," "Lo Boob Oscillator," "Brigitte," "Spinal Column," "Heavenly Column," "Slow Fast Hazel," "Baby Lulu," "Peng 33," "Revox," "Heavy Denim," "Wow And Flutter," and "Metronomic Underground."
