Lou Moore was a race car driver who competed in the Indianapolis 500 from 1928 to 1936. He finished 2nd in 1928, started on the pole position in 1932, and finished 3rd in 1933 and 1934. He was also the owner of the cars that won the Indianapolis 500 in 1938, 1941, 1947, 1948, and 1949.
