Mrs. Millie Ann (Asbury) Hasselbacher, Galesburg, age 42 of 1951 Washington St. Galesburg, IL died at 12:01 PM Sunday September 24, 2006 in OSF St. Francis Medical Center Peoria, IL.

She was born January 7, 1964 in Galesburg, IL, the daughter of Thomas and Marjorie Jane Bailey Asubry, She married Thomas Hasselbacher in Monmouth, IL on May 2,2004. He survives.

Also surviving is her father Thomas Asbury of Galesburg, four daughters Jenifer (husband Jared) Chandler, Amber Asbury, Heather Sargeant and Laci Sargeant all of Galesburg, two step sons Rich Sargeant of Galesburg and Jeremy Hasselbacher of Princeville, Il, one step daughter Diana Jenkins of Galesburg, one brother Terry Asbury of California, several half brothers and half sisters survive (Richard A. Johnson, Maquon, IL, Gail Ann, Galesburg, IL, Diana Nowell, Scotland) and a special friend Dolly Sprinkle of Galesburg and three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother and her grandparents Ira and Millie Asubry whom raised her.

She worked for Caterpillar in Mossville, IL. She worked for Maytag, She also worked for HyVee Gas Station. She graduated from Williamsfield High School and attended Carl Sandburg College. She was a member of the I.A. M.A. with Maytag and U.A.W. with Caterpillar.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10AM Thursday at ZHinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. The Rev. John Carlson will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at the chapel. Memorials can be made to the Education fund for her grandchildren.
