Mary Sellars Holt, 91, of Boiling Springs, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2011, at her home. She was the widow of Judge William Holt.
Mrs. Holt was a native of Spartanburg County and a daughter of the late Carl B. and Bertha Weaver Sellars. She was a retired employee of Spartan Mills and a member of Green Street Baptist Church. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Alice and Charles Gowan of Duncan, SC and Sheila Hart and Danny Flynn of Boiling Springs; three grandchildren, Timothy Gowan, Samuel Gowan, and Kimberly Wood; six great-grandchildren, Perrin Wood, Hayden Gowan, Chelsea Gowan, Sammy Gowan, Courtney Gowan and Steven Bolton also survive her. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Merry Hope Gowan.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Sunset Memorial Park officiated by Chaplain Dean Cortese.
