Donna J. Larson, 63, of Kennard, died Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, at First Lutheran Church in Blair, with interment in the Kennard Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Donna Jean Moore was born Jan. 19, 1948, in Bell, Calif., to Donald and Mary Ann (Dolan) Moore. She graduated from Blair High School in 1966.

On Oct. 21, 1967, she married Sherman Larson in Blair. The couple lived in Blair until 1972, when they moved to Kennard.

Mrs. Larson had worked at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, and the OPPD nuclear power plant; she ran the Blair Golf Course and owned and operated D.J.'s Redbird Bar in Herman.

She loved to be with her family and grandchildren. She was a member of the Blair VFW Auxiliary and a member of the Kennard American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Sherman; son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Robin of Herman; three grandsons, Justin, Gage and Dylan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mickey and Sherry Moore, of Elk City, and Tom and Chris Moore, of Dakota City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tami Larson; and grandson, Zachary A. Larson.
