Mr. Dattilo was the retired owner of the Phil Dattilo Produce Company. He was a Charter member of the St. Raphael the Archangel Church and past president and long standing member of the St. Raphael's Chapter, St. Vincent de Paul Society. He also volunteered his time with several other organizations in our community. He was an alumni of St. Xavier High School, class of 1935.
He was preceded in death by his dear wife of 64 years, Lucy B. Dattilo.
Survivors include: two daughters- Jo Ann Dattilo Traboulsi (Edward), Atlantic Beach, NY, and Kathleen Dattilo Bachmann Nuss (Jon), Louisville, KY; two sons- Donald P. Dattilo (Phillis), San Diego, CA, and Glen F. Dattilo (Diana), Lexington, KY; two sisters- Margaret Mooser, Louisville, Ida Mary Zinam, Cincinnati, OH, nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Nellie Morsey and a dear friend, Leo Fogle.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am, Friday, April 15 at St. Raphael, Bardstown Rd at Lancashire Ave. with burial in Calvary. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Thursday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
