She was married to A. G. Music in Floyd County, Ky., January 1, 1864. To this union were born eight children. The first child died when he was two years old. Her husband died December 16, 1919, J. W. Music died December 15, 1931 and Abe Music, the oldest son, died January 14, 1934.
She is survived by her daughter Mrs. Sam Spradlin, Canute, Okla., G. W. Music, Zack Music, W. T. Music, all of Elk City and Tom Music of Prestonsburg, Ky. In addition to her immediate family, she leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Music moved with her husband to Washita County, Okla., in 1907, where she lived until her death. She was united to the Church of Christ soon after her marriage and remained a devout Christian until her death which occurred November 4, 1936 at eight o'clock p.m., at the age of 91 years, 10 months and 13 days.
Funeral services were conducted at the Taylor church Friday at two o'clock where she attended a revival in August, 1936. The Rev. J. C. Carman of the Church of Christ, assisted by Rev. Banister, minister of the Church of Christ of Elk City officiated. Burial was made under the direction of Grubitz and Son in the Ural cemetery.
The profusion of floral offerings bespoke the high esteem in which Mrs. Music was held by her number of friends.
Pallbearers were the following grandchildren: Mr. Ralph Music, Mr. Goebel Music and Dolen Music all of Elk City; Walter Music and Pete Spradlin of Canute.
Flower girls were the following great grandchildren: Mrs. Fanny (Music) Lanford, Cordell; Miss Margaret Dougan, Cordell; Miss Lorene Duree, Canute; Miss Yvonne Keas, Elk City; Miss Alice Spradlin, Canute; and Miss Orpha Music, Canute.
