Adolf was born in Austria in 1938 and he immigrated to Canada in 1960. He lived in Montreal, Quebec and then moved west in 1961 to Montmartre, Saskatchewan.
In 1968, Adolf decided to join the U.S. Marines for three years. He enlisted in Spokane and took basic training at San Diego from April 8th to June 4th 1968.

LCpl Kroisenbacher was a member of the 3rd Marine Division in Vietnam from early September 1968 until his death on March 7, 1969.

He is buried in Austria.
