Laura Kaye Day, 62, of Idaho Falls, died at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born in Salt Lake City to Donald and Ida Wasetis. She was raised by her stepfather, George Worthing, and his parents. She graduated from Clearfield High School, where she earned awards for swimming. On August 6, 1955, she married William Ned Day, Sr in Clearfield, UT. She worked in the cafeteria at Hill Air Force Base in Layton, UT. Later, she became co-owner of a Husky Service Station and a golf course. After receiving her LPN degree, she worked as a nurse at Good Samaritan Nursing Center. She enjoyed reading, sewing, crossword puzzles, music, walks, animals, camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, and golf. Laura especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving (all of Idaho Falls)Husband: William Ned Day, Sr.Children: William Ned Day, Jr., Laura Jean Day, and Tessla Marie DayGranddaughter: Keeshia Day She was preceded by son Karl Dennis Day and granddaughter Angelina "Angel" Kaye Day.
