Mrs. Howard G. Abbott, 76, Fulton, died at 11:05 a.m. Friday in Morrison Community Hospital.

Funeral rites will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Reynolds Funeral Home by the Rev. Bruce Brenneman, pastor of the Morrison United Methodist church. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery.

Perilla Margaret Loasching was born Aug. 5, 1893 in New Brighton, Minn., the daughter of Fred and Ida Loasching. She was reared and educated in Jackson County, Wis., and Black River Falls, Wis. high school and attended Stout Institute in Menomonie, Wis. She taught home economics in the high school at Fairchild, Wis. and was united in marriage with Howard G. Abbot June 21, 1922 in Black river Falls, Wis. They lived in Clark County, Wis., until 1929 when they moved to their present home.

Mrs. Abbot was a member of the United Methodist Church, Morrison, Royal Neighbors of America, the American Legion Auxiliary and past president of the WSCS of the United Methodist Church. She was active for 25 years in 4-H Club work and served as a 4-H leader in Cottonwood.

Surviving are the husband and two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Ethel) Bland of Miramar, Fla. and Mrs. Walter (Dorothy) Fields of Indianapolis, Ind. She also leaves one sister and one brother, Mrs. Ingwald Erickson of Ettrik, Wis., and Lynn Loasching of Black River Falls, Wis., five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Forrest and Edgar Loasching preceded in death.
