Tulah LaVern Hill was born on March 27, 1934 in Cowlington, Oklahoma to Arthur Berkley and Rachel (Young) Berkley. She passed from this life on May 13, 2011 in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years, 1 month & 16 days.
Tulah had lived in this area virtually all of her life. She was a longtime employee of Conrad Farms and also loved working in her own garden and canning fruits and vegetables. She was a member of Shellenbarger Free Will Baptist Church and always enjoyed worshipping there with her church family. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, making dolls, fishing and picking up pecans.
She was preceded in death by 1 son; William Taylor, 4 brothers; Herman, Clayton & Garland Berkley and James Harper and 1 sister; Bertie Muller.
She is survived by 3 daughters; Donna Rickner of Langley, OK, Teresa Emily and husband J.R., of Bixby & Lisa Ramirez of Tulsa, 1 son; Mickey Hill of Tulsa, 3 sisters; Reba Gaither of Henryetta, OK, Willie Fancher of Weleetka, OK & Nellie Cotner of Liberty Mounds, 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.
Casket bearers are Mickey Hill, Eric Turner, Mace Taylor & Dennis Thompson.
