Mr. James "Bud" Singletary 82 of Bladenboro entered into enternal rest Monday, March 2, 2009. He was born on September 13, 1926. He is preceded in death by his parents James Colon and Beatrice Bobbitt Singletary. A sister Nannie Lee Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Sandy Grove Baptist Church at 2:00pm. The funeral will follow at 3:00pm with the Rev. Jerry Beck officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Singletary is survived by his wife Mildred Penfield Singletary of the home.One daughter Gayle Johnson of Clinton.Two sisters Beatrice Priest Savage of Elizabethtown. Gertrude Singletary of Bladenboro. Two Grandchildren Candace Marie Butler and James Leon Butler and wife Megan of Clinton.
