Fred, son of Harry and Mary Sickler, died this morning, aged 2 years. The funeral will be held on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence of Frederick Sickler, No. 55 Stuyvesant street. Interment in Montrepose Cemetery. A few days ago the parents brought the body of another child to this city from Brooklyn for burial and Fred was taken sick with pneumonia. In a few years Mr. and Mrs. Sickler have lost five sons and five daughters by death. There are two children surviving. [Kingston Daily Freeman (New York), 2 Jan 1915]
