Margaret Ann Blair was born 29 August 1929 in Blackfoot, Bingham, Idaho. She was the oldest of the 5 children born to James Skelton Blair and Mary Idaho Riley. Siblings: Mary Frances, Park R., Preston "Pete" and Sandra,. She grew up and attended schools in Blackfoot and Idaho Falls and she graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1947. On 18 August 1948, she married James Grant Moncur in Idaho Falls, Bonneville, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on 22 August, 1962. Margaret and Jim were the parents of 5 children: Shawna, James Blair, Margaret Ida (Margie), Mary Frances and Laurel Kim. She was employed by First Security Bank in Idaho Falls as a bookkeeper for 25 years. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served as a Sunday School teacher, Primary teacher, ward bulletin director and librarian. She and her husband served two missions to Cody, Wyoming. Margaret enjoyed reading and crocheting. She passed away 3 October 2003 at the Life Care Center In Idaho Falls. Survivors include her husband Jim Moncur of Ririe; daughters, Shawna Fellows of Idaho Falls, Mary (Ron) Faccio of Boise and Laurel (Bob) Neilson of Idaho Falls; a son Blair (Leni) Moncur of Ririe; a sister, Sandra Cox of Tucson, Ariz; her brothers, Park R. (Dale) Blair of Elko, Nevada and Preston "Pete" (Darla) Blair of Idaho Falls. 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mary Frances and one daughter, Margie. Funeral Services were held at the Ririe LDS Stake Center in Ririe, Idaho at 1 p.m. on Monday October 6, 2003. Bishop Robert W. Johnson officiated. Burial was in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
