Mary Elizabeth (Thatcher) Gowen, age 82 years, died Wednesday, December 22, 1999, in the MetroWest Medical Center after a long illness.
She was the widow of John K. Gowen III
and a longtime South Natick resident.
She was a retired secretary for a law practice, then later for a research library.
She was active in the town of Natick, where she was a longtime Town Meeting member; a member of the Finance Committee; a former member of the Natick Quota Club; and, a former Brownie and Cub Scout leader.
Interment in the Glenwood Cemetery.
