Barbara Ann Black, 74, of Waynesville, Missouri and formerly of Batesville, died Monday, May 9, 2011 at Life Care Center in Waynesville, Missouri.
Born November 30, 1936 in Batesville, she was the daughter of Finis Robbins and Goldine Bibb Robbins.
She worked for the American Motel & Hotel Association with a lengthy career in motel management. She also worked for Best Western in marketing and later taught college classes in hotel & motel management.
Barbara and her husband, Tommy, were married 49 years until his death in July, 2005.
Survivors include two sons: Tom Black and his wife, Stephanie of Lebanon, Missouri and Jeff Black and his wife, Patti of Crocker, Missouri; and three grandchildren: Ashley Meagan Morris serving in the Air Force, Jonathan Kelsey Black serving in the Navy and Anthony Travis Black of Crocker.
Funeral services in Missouri will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2011 at Memorial Chapels and Crematory, Waynesville/St. Robert with visitation from 9 to 11 a.m.
Graveside services in Arkansas will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m.at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
