MARION - Word has been received in Columbia of the death at the Florence infirmary yesterday of Mrs. Sue McMillan Blackwell, a much beloved resident of Marion, who had been ill for some time.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon at Marion Methodist Church. Interment will be in the family plot in the churchyard.
Mrs. Blackwell was a sister of Dr. W. C. McMillan of Columbia.
Through her many fine qualities, Mrs. Blackwell endeared herself to a very wide circle of friends who will join with the family in mourning her death. She was a devoted Methodist and an earnest worker both in the church and the Sunday school.
