Wilma "Parkey" Edmondson Canada, age 67, of Lake Brownwood passed away Friday, May 6, 2011, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2011, at the Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Regency Cemetery in Mills County. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Parkey was born in Mullin, Texas, to Eli and Bessie Edmondson on Aug. 7, 1943. She retired from Kohler as a foreman. She lived most of her life in Brown County.
She is survived by her husband, J.D. Canada of Lake Brownwood; daughter, Danella McBrayer of Humble; sons, Jimmy Canada of Odessa and Jeffery Canada of Spring; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Leona Lynne Canada; her parents; two sisters and three brothers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
