Services for Willie Edna Fletcher, 73, of West Monroe were at 11 a.m., on Thursday, January 4, from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Lynn Johnson officiating. Interment followed in the Old Bethel Cemetery west of Clarks.
Mrs. Fletcher was born in Clarks on June 10, 1927 to the union of James Edward and Laura Doolittle Gilbert and died Tuesday, January 2, 2001 at her son's residence in West Monroe.
She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, S. E. "Steve" Fletcher, her brother, James Fred Gilbert and sister, Hazel Ford.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Louis and Roy Weaver of Eros; her three sons and daughters in law, Buddy and Melissa Fletcher of Hebert, Jimmy and Peggy Fletcher of West Monroe and Steve and Sherri Fletcher of West Monroe; her nine grandchildren, Lisa Spillers, Rachel Dodson, Kathy Lewis, Roy Weaver, Jr., Shannon Fletcher, Jay Fletcher, Brian Fletcher, Melissa Miller and Lynse Fletcher, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Shannon Fletcher, Jay Fletcher, Brian Fletcher, Mickey Lewis, Clyde Walker and Roy Weaver, Jr.
