LINTON, Cora "Ellen"(Brumley) (Age 90) - of Priest River, passed away on May 28, 2005 in Newport.

Ellen was born on June 9, 1914, in Newport to William and Nellie (Morehouse) Brumley and was one of ten children. On January 10, 1932 she married James Robert Linton in Newport.

Ellen was a busy homemaker who enjoyed painting, sewing, knitting, crocheting and gardening, especially flowers. She also enjoyed attending the Community Baptist Church that she and her husband donated the land to. Ellen's greatest love was her children and all the grand and great-grandkids.

Survivors include five sons, James (and Joany) Linton of Priest River, Gerald Linton of Seely Lake, MT, Curtis Linton of Priest River, Delbert (and Cindy) Linton of Colbert, WA, and Mick (and Vickie) Linton also of Priest River; two daughters, June (and Donald) Pettit of Oldtwon, ID and Joy (and Gary) Altmaier of Priest River.

Besides her parents and husband, Ellen was preceded in death by three sons, Larry, Dennis and Ray Linton; four brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 4th, 2005 at the Sherman and Knapp Funeral Home in Priest River. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery. SHERMAN-KNAPP FUNERAL HOME, NEWPORT, WA, in charge of arrangements.
