Served in the Army 1942-45; veteran of the North African campaign, D-Day invasion and Patton's Third Army. Attached to VIII Corps during the Battle of the Ardennes and siege of Bastogne. Later baseball radio broadcaster for Ogden (KLO) and Salt Lake City (KALL) semi-pro teams 1946-1974.
