Our one and only Florence "Memere" Duplichan Saathoff, age 89, went to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, Thursday May 5, 2011.
She was born June 4, 1921, in Kinder, LA, to Ewell and Neta Duplichan.
Her family was her foremost love in life, and she was happiest when surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Memere was a vibrant woman of God and always embraced life with a positive outlook, caring for people and animals with a truly compassionate heart. Whether she was cooking, volunteering, sewing, quilting, or gardening, she used these gifts for the greater good of those around her. Our precious Memere knew what was really important in life, and her beautiful spirit impacted those it touched in a way that will never be forgotten.
