Mrs. Hirshfield was born December 18, 1913 in New London, CT. She attended Sweet Briar College and graduated from Connecticut College for Women in 1934. Mrs. Hirshfield lived in Washington, DC in 1937, and from 1950 to 1962, when her husband retired. They then lived in Cleveland, OH, for eight years. She subsequently lived in Rancho Sante Fe, CA for 26 years. Widowed, she moved in 1996 to Falcons Landing.
She is survived by her son and two daughters. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. (Supplied by Lanie)
