Jonas Eagle Cooper was the son of Robert and Verna Franklin Cooper. He was a miller for the Temple Milling Co in Sevierville, TN. He was survived by his wife, Pandora Lewis Cooper of Kodak, Tn; sons, James, Jerry, Dennis Derrell; mother, Verna Franklin Cooper; sisters, Mrs. Elmer Lethco, Mrs. Alvin McCarter, Mrs. Frank Brackins and Mrs. George Hodge. He was a member of Beech Springs Baptist Church, Kodak,Tn.

Note: Son, Jerry Wayne Cooper died 2 Jul 1971 and two friends died 2 Jul 1971 in an auto accident near Kodak School. Jerry Wayne also buried Hurst Chapel Cemetery.
