Willow dale - Muriel J. Bohrer, 92, died Nov. 13, 2007 at Hilltop Manor, Cunningham.
She was born Nov. 1, 1915, at Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of L.V. and Gladys L. Hartman Wood. A longtime resident of the Willowdale community, she was a homemaker and retired bus driver for the Zenda schools.
She was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church and Altar Society, both of Willowdale.
On Jan. 5, 1937, she married Frank N. Bohrer Sr. at Iola, Kansas; he died July 27, 2005. Survivors include 2 sons, Frank, Jr., Andale and Richard, Pratt; daughter Joyce Mertens, Rago; brothers, Richard Wood, San Diego, CA., and Thomas Wood, Iola; sister Aileen Ballenger, Iola; 5 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation and light luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the St. Peter Parish Hall. Parish rosary will be at 1:00 p.m., followed by funeral services at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Peter Catholic Church. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in the St. Peter Church Cemetery.
