Mistaken Identity
A poem by Dorothy Husar Krosky, sister of little John
She's in the back, Anna Husar, under the shade of trees
Although she really doesn't feel the breeze.
She's at peace, as the wind does blow.
Mother of mine--I miss you so!
And indeed, I must really confess,
Even though my life continues a mess,
I've made a mistake--many in the past.
But I've corrected this one at last.
I've gone to someone else's grave, it's true,
To rant and rave, as I sometimes do.
There wasn't any marker for quite awhile.
And now and then, I have to smile.
It was someone else, with whom I spoke.
Poor soul below--oh what a joke.
I've gone back to visit and make amends
And I've apologized and I think we're friends.
Now when I visit, there are two people in mind.
For I can see the marker. I'm no longer blind.
Mistaken identity at Lorain Calvary,
Where all are there till eternity.
Loved Ones
A poem by Dorothy Ann Husar Krosky 11/9/1979
When thoughts of loved ones suddenly appear
In the wheels of the mind, we'll hold them dear.
But we cannot dwell too long in this one place
For there is much in life that we must face.
We must carry on in the days of change
For life, another pattern, does arrange.
