Jerlene Mullins, age 69, of Phyllis, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Pikeville Medical Center.

She was born March 20, 1942, in Pike County, the daughter of the late Henry Weddington Mullins and Martha Ann Issac Mullins.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Unnie Wilma Hall and Stella Ann Hall, one brother, Dave Mullins, two sisters, Stella Reek and Alene Johnson, and one grandchild.

She is survived by three sons, Dexter Hall and Temmy Hall, both of Elkhorn City, Lester Hall of Robinson Creek, one daughter, Ada Casey of Phyllis, three brothers, Henry Mullins Jr. and Virgil Mullins, both of Caney Creek, Woodrow Mullins of Bowling Fork, four sisters, Maxine Little of Bowling Fork, Jetta Lee Bridgeman of Jonancy, Mary Elizabeth Mullins and Mabelene Scott, both of Caney Creek, twelve grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 6, 201, in the Caney Creek Old Regular Baptist Church, with Regular Baptist ministers officiating. Burial will be in the Mullins Family Cemetery, Newsome Branch of Caney.

Visitation is at the church after 5 p.m. Wednesday, with services at 7 p.m.
