THE DEATH OF FRANK ANDERSON
Frank Anderson, died at 11:30 Saturday morning at his home in Yorktown after short illness. Mr. Anderson helped to fight the fire that recently destroyed the Erickson and Holst barns and contracted a severe cold. This terminated in pneumonia, and he died after a four-day illness. Mr. Anderson was born in Sweden on October 2, 1848. He came to this country when he was a young man and engaged in farming. He is survived by a widow and one daughter, Mrs. Grant Arnold, of Dayton. He was a member of the Methodist church and was a man of splendid character. He was a successful farmer and a useful citizen. He enjoyed the confidence and respect of all who knew him. The funeral will be conducted from the Yorktown church this afternoon at two o'clock. Rev. W. M. Swanson, of Chicago, and Rev. O. P. Paxton, of Stockwell, will officiate. The interment will be made in the Yorktown Cemetery.
