|Birth: ||Sep. 7, 1882|
|Death: ||Dec. 23, 1936|
Daughter of John F. and Mary J. (Reynolds) Barnett.
Came to Oklahoma thru Texas, most likely thru Love County, OK, where her grandfather John B. Barnett died; then on to Roff, Pontotoc Co. I.T. where she met and married Virgil Berry Montgomery. They moved to the community of Parker, then Non, where they farmed and raised their large family. She was a hard worker, made a garden, raised chickens and always ready to put a meal on the table. She liked to fish, and did so with a neighbor, Arvie Wheat, going to a pond and a few times, cooking their "catch" on the bank.
She died before the last of her children were grown; they all missed her very much.
She was affiliated with the Free Will Baptist Church of Non.
