BOCK-GEROGE I., 78 died at his home
in Murfreesboro, Tenn., Monday after-
noon. Funeral services will be con-
ducted Wednesday, 2 p.m. from Wood-
fin Memorial Chapel by Rev. M.J.
Triplett. Mr. Bock was born and
reared in Murfresesboro and was
educated at Webb School. Bell Buckle,
Tenn. For many years he operated
the firm of Adam Bock & Sons car-
riage makers. In later years he
operated the Bock Tearoom. He re-
tired in 1942. Surviving are his wife
Mrs. Frona Bell Bock; son George I.
Bock Jr., member of the faculty of
Baylor School, Chattanooga, daugh-
ter, Miss Carolyn Bock, Montclair,
N.J.; two sister, Miss Maggie Bock,
Murfreesboro; Mrs. LaDell Smith, Los
Angeles.
