Mrs. Oscar Gerstman Dies Last Night At Hospital Here-

Mrs. Oscar Gerstman, widely known and beloved woman died at 11:40 o'clock Tuesday night at the Benevolent Hospital where she had been taken from her home on Decatur route 4 some time ago in an effort to save her life. Mrs. Gerstman had been ill for three months, and while death was not wholly unexpected it came as a blow to her family and host of devoted friends.

Deceased is survived by her husband; four sons, Oscar Jr, Jerry, Raymond and Emel and two daughters, Mrs. Howard Tapscott and Mrs. W.N. Thomas; one grandchild. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. J.J. Sellhorst, three sisters and two brothers.

The body was removed to the Priest Funeral Parlors where it was prepared for burial and this afternoon removed to 1612 1/2 Fifth Avenue South.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 o'clock Thursday from St. Ann's Church on Johnston Street. Interment in the family lot in the City Cemetery. The following will serve as pallbearers: L.L. Pepper, J.F. English, H.H. Hauk, Charles Huller, Johnson Bradshaw and T.C. Ellis.
