surname spelling varies from "Gillet" to "Gillett"
In regards to the cemetery in which I have listed John, according to the librarian (Ms. Goodwin) for the Windsor Historical Society: "The only cemetery in use in Windsor circa 1699 was the one that is now called the Palisado Cemetery on Route 159 in Windsor, behind First Church in Windsor and just across the street from our historical society. We do have indexes and listings of the markers in that cemetery, but I am sorry to tell you that only a few headstones and markers exist from the earliest days".
Due to this, Palisado Cemetery would be the most likely cemetery in which John was buried.
