John Paukst, 53, died at his home, South Amherst, R.D.D. No. 2, this morning after two years; illness. He was born in Poland and has lived in this vicinity for the past ten years.
He is survived by his widow Mrs. Josephine Paukst and five children: Mrs. Paul Zabornia, of Elyria, Joseph, Walter, Alex and Helen all at home; one brother and two sisters in Poland. He is a member of the National Alliance of Poles of America.
The remains will be removed to the home in South Amherst tomorrow afternoon from the Bittner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning at 9:00 from St. Stinislaw's church with the Rev. Francis Duda of Lorain officiating and burial will be made in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
