HE SERVED WITH THE ARMY DURING WORLD WAR II.
Estil was a member of the Monroe Missionary Baptist Church and for many years was a member of it's Sunday School class. He also was a member of the Frenchtown Senior Citizens. Surviving are his wife; 2 sons, Gary of Monroe and Larry Vincent of Maybee; two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Janice Fay) Hatfield of Pierceton, Ind., and Mrs. Jess (Sharon) Thomason of San Antonio, Texas; two stepsons, Harold A. Shackelford of Monroe and Chief Master Sgt. B.R. Shackleford, of Trenton, Ill; a stepdaughter, Ms. Lorrain Diker of Fort Wayne, Ind., a brother, Warren of Las Vegas, Nev; a sister, Mrs. Charles (Ada) Chalfin of Montelier, Ohio; 19 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by eight brothers, two sisters and a grandchild.
*Estil had an infant daughter Margie Lou Keck, who was the daughter from the marriage of Estil Keck and Lottie England.
