Carl A. Lienemann, 73, of Omaha, died Friday, April 29, 2011, in Fort Calhoun.
Funeral services were Monday, May 2, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun. Interment was in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.
Carl August Lienemann was born Dec. 28, 1937, in Omaha.
On April 1, 1989, he married Kathy Hassenstab.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his sons, Mike and Matt Lienemann, both of Omaha, Doug Urick of Omaha, Dean Urick of Sarasota, Fla., and Ron Urick of Omaha; daughters, Lori Soflin and Julie Kemper, both of Seward, Donna Welchert and Wendy Talmadge, both of Fort Calhoun, and Caryn Burroughs of Clarinda, Iowa; mother, Nan Lienemann of Bellevue; many grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy, in November 2007; father, Herman Lienemann; and sister, Anne Hague.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
