Enos Barrows was one of at least 2 sons born to Seth & Ruth Ann (Atwood) Barrows.

He was born Nov. 30, 1809, in Carver, Plymouth County, Massachusetts [birth / death location provided by FindAGrave member Corie Campbell]. Sometime between 1810 and 1817, Enos' family moved from Massachusetts to Broome County, New York, where his brother Iram was born. Enos died in the Town of Lisle, Broome County, New York, in 1891.

Enos and his brother Iram both married daughters of John & Nancy (Wood) Brown, of Lisle, Broome, New York, thus establishing the beginnings of what has become a very complex Brown-Barrows family tree.

Enos married Lucy Brown, the 9th child of 13 children of John & Nancy (Wood) Brown, on Dec. 11, 1834.

All together, Enos & Lucy (Brown) Barrows had 11 children:
