Walter served in Charlie Battery, 1st Battalion, 12th Marines, 3rd Marine Division, Republic of South Vietnam in 1967.
Walter enlisted in U.S.M.C., 19 Aug 1965 and was discharged 10 Jun 1969. He held the rank of Sergeant.
He was a 105 howitzer cannoneer.

WALTER STEPHEN ROSLONSKI Age 61, died December 7, 2008. Father of Steven (Robin), Daniel (Laura), Joseph and Darline (Lee) Willard. Son of Sophie and the late Stephen (Steve) J. Roslonski. Brother of Christine (Leeland) Hoffman, Denise (Art) Fecteau, and brother to the late William D. Roslonski. Two grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. Visitation Thursday 4-9 p.m. and Friday 1-9 p.m. at the Jurkiewicz & Wilk Funeral Home, 2396 Caniff, Hamtramck. Funeral Services Saturday 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Walter's remains were given to his grandson: Daniel J. Roslonski, Washington, MI
