Elected to represent New Mexico as an At-Large Delegate in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1941 until 1945, when he resigned to accept the appointment of Secretary of Agriculture in the first Truman Administration. Flowers from the farm in Sweden that your father and grandfather was born; Jönsgården in Svärdsjö, Sweden. I have grown up at this farm and my paretns still lives there. Your cousin Jöns-Elsa died for some years ago. She remember when you visit the farm.
