Funeral services for Paulyne Marshall, 67, Route 2, Verndale, were conducted at 2 p.m. Apr. 28, 1990 at the Oylen Christian and Missionary Alliance church with Rev. Martin Eastman officiating. Interment was in the Lyons township cemetery with Johnson Memorial Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Marshall passed away at her home Apr 25, 1990.
Casketbearers were Noel Monson, John Brunes, John Oehlenschlager, Don Block, Craig Cervin and Mark Wood.
She is survived by her husband, John; one son, John T. Marshall, Miltona; three daughters, Kathleen Cervin, Ramset; Sharona Block, Cambridge; and Sally Wood, Wadena; 11 grandchildren; her mother, Viola Hardy; and three brothers, Leonard Hardy and Virgil Hardy, both of Bismarck, N.D,; and Roger Hardy, Mora; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Hardy, and one son, Rodrick.
Born July 1, 1922 in Cass county at her parent's home - Paul and Violet (Monson) Hardy near Backus, she graduated from Pine River High School. She attended St. Cloud Business College and worked as a bookkeeper until her marriage to John Marshall Dec 12, 1945 at the home of Leon Eastman in Nimrod.
John and Paulyne have been farming near Nimrod since their marriage. She was a homemaker and mother of four children. She also was an active member of the Oylen CMA church. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening and bottle collecting.
