Williamstown - The Pulaski Democrat correspondent writes that paper as follows, on Monday: Since our last correspondence was sent there has been six cases more of small pox. Five of the cases have been in one family, that of Anthony Bronson. Mr. Bronson has suffered greatly since he came down with the disease and finally died this morning at about three o'clock. He will be buried tonight at ten o'clock.
All businesses will be closed by nine o'clock and no person will be allowed in the street. The Board of Health are doing everything in their power to stay the progress of the disease. Altogether we have had seven cases. It was spread by the woman who took care of the first case either by wearing home some of her clothes she had with her, or else she did not properly cleanse herself; the matter will be looked after this time, No pains will be spared to see that everything is properly cleansed this time so as to prevent Its further spreading.
