Death Claims Joe Aldrete

Joe Aldrete, 69, a resident of Prescott since 1906, died Tuesday at his residence, 405 W. Virginia St, after a long illness.

Aldrete was born in Mexico. While in Prescott he served as an emplyee for the Sante Fe railroad and later operated a grocery store on West Goodwin Street.

Survivors include his wife, Frances; daughters, Nellie, Sarah, Elizabeth, Bertha and Mrs. A. A. Espitia, all of Prescott, and Mrs. R. H. Garcia of Tempe; and five sons; Tony Franco, now emplyed by the Iron King Mine; Gilbert Aldrete, a member of the U.S. Navy now stationed at Treasure Island, Calif. Ermerde Aldrete, now at Davis Mothan Air Force Base, and Joe Aldrete Jr., and Ernest Aldrete, both students at Prescott Senior High School.

Funeral services are pending at the Huner Mortuary.
