Mrs. Virgie C Fritz, wife of Oliver J Fritz, died Wednesday morning at 11:35 from a complication of diseases at the age of 53 years. She was a daughter of John and Mary Martz Herring and was born November 16, 1877, and formerly lived in Orrtanna.
Surviving are her husband and the following brothers and sisters; George Herring and Mervin Herring, Orrtanna; David Herring, Biglerville; Mrs. Grant Herring, Fairfield; Mrs. Joseph Smith, Frostburg, Maryland; Mrs. Charles Baumgardner, Hanover, and Mrs. Leshe Bishop, Orrtanna.
Funeral services Saturday afternoon at the home at 1:00 and further obsequies in Flohr's church, the Rev. Harry Hursh Beidleman, pastor of St. Matthews Lutheran church, Hanover, officiating. Burial will be made in the Flohr's church cemetery.
