Retired Switchman Dies at Helena
Herman Albert Miller, 71 years old, a resident of Helena, Mo., died at his home yesterday afternoon. He was a former St. Joseph resident, and a retired switchman for the Burington Railroad.
Mr. Miller was born in St. Joseph, and had been a resident of Helena for two and a half years. He was a member of the Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosa Miller of the home, and two sons, Fred Miller, Kansas City, Mo., and Joseph Miller, St. Joseph.
Other survivors are three step-sons, Ova Powell, St. Joseph, Orbery Powell, Vancouver, Wash., and Leroy Powell, Portland, Ore., and two brothers, Paul Miller, St. Joseph, and George Miller, Gallatin, Mo.
The body is at the Heaton-Bowman mortuary.
