He also lived at Guthrie,OK where he & his bro. Johnny were paper boys & he finished growing up around & in Pawnee,OK on the Pawnee Indian Reservation. He was a member of the Pawnee Bill Wild West Show where he earned his nickname by riding "hand hold" holding just the mane of the bucking horse. He was very well known & loved in OK & IL, wearing Indian Regalia & dancing in many parades & POW WOW's throughout northern IL & Pawnee,OK. He furthered the knowledge about Native Americans by giving programs in schools, Boy Scouts & placed a memorial marker to the Potawatami Indians who lived in the village of Tiskilwa, Bureau Co.,IL. He also danced at the Flemish American Club in Kewanee, Henry Co.,IL for over 35 yrs. His interests & accomplishments are much to many to list here. He was greatly loved by family in IL,OK,AZ,& OR & countless friends who treasured him & his many,many stories. we sure miss him & love him.
